Highly accomplished, confident, and enthusiastic public speaking students from Years 5-12 are encourage to apply to compère at the Mid North Coast Dance Festival 2020.

Students applying should have strong oral skills and a demonstrated ability to:
∙ confidently address large audiences (of up to 500 people)
∙ work as part of a team and/or autonomously
∙ work under pressure with a calm approach to the pressures of a ‘live’ public event
∙ be charismatic, enthusiastic and engaging to an audience
∙ competently pronounce difficult words and sight read with ease
∙ follow instructions and departmental protocol
∙ accept constructive feedback
∙ be committed and punctual
∙ be highly motivated and willing to learn
∙ be respectful, courteous and diligent
∙ be well groomed and wear their school uniform with pride
